We are delighted to pilot our first Learning Neighbourhood here in Waterford. 

What is a Learning City Neighbourhood?

A Learning City Neighbourhood brings learning right to your doorstep. It’s all about making lifelong learning visible, accessible, and relevant within your community. 

By teaming up with residents and local partners, we will work together to connect efforts and inspire new opportunities that reflect local lifelong learning needs and interests. 
We celebrate existing community learning and raise awareness about lifelong learning benefits. 
 
Our first pilot Neighbourhood is Larchville Lisduggan, locally known as ‘The Parish’. 
 
The Learning Neighbourhood approach is led by local residents. We are currently working with residents and community leaders to discover and highlight the lifelong learning activities that are already taking place across the neighbourhood.
